STARK Building Materials UK (Jewson) seeks a customer-focused team member for our Farnborough operation. You will greet customers, understand their needs, and deliver swift, friendly service across yard, counter, and shop floor.

The role offers full-time hours Monday to Friday with alternate Saturdays and starts on Monday 1 February 2027. Enjoy a supportive, dynamic environment with development opportunities and a range of employee benefits.

Responsibilities

This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 6:30-16:00 OR 7:30-17:00, and every other Saturday from 07:30-12:00.

The start date for this role is Monday 1st February 2027.

What You'll Be Doing

• Acknowledge every customer, ascertain their needs and wow them with quick and efficient service

• Ask open questions to build strong relationships and understand our customers current and future requirements so we can support all their needs

• Maintain excellent standards across the yard, counter and shop floor

• Operate machinery safely and carry out key operational activities such as offloading, picking, packing, restocking and loading vehicles

• Support business initiatives to increase sales, margin & service as required

• Continually develop your knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs

• Loading and unloading vehicles both manually and with a forklift (training will be provided)
