Job summary

Total Waste Recruitment is seeking a Yard Recycling Operative / Mobile Plant Operator in Atherton. You will operate different mobile plant equipment such as FLT, bobcat, and waste handler, with training provided if you have experience operating other mobile plant.

The role involves processing bulk waste material, working to site safety policies, and a Monday–Friday 7:30am–5pm schedule. Previous outdoor waste/recycling, aggregates, quarry, or landscaping experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in outdoors dirty environments such as skip hire, landfill, waste or recycling.
• Experience operating at least one of FLT, Telehandler, Skidsteer, Loading Shovel or Digger; training provided for other plant.
• Any relevant safety training is welcome.

Role

You will operate different mobile plant equipment such as FLT, bobcat, waste handler (any required training given, provided you have experience operating other mobile plant)

Experience

You must have 2 years’ experience in an outdoors dirty type of environment similar to Skip Hire, Landfill, Waste, Recycling, Aggregates, Quarry, Farming, Landscape Gardening, Construction, Demolition.

You will have experience operating at least one of the following (licenced or in house training acceptable) FLT, Telehandler, Skidsteer, Loading Shovel, Digger, Tractor with Bucket, JCB, 360 Excavator, Waste Handler. You will be provided training on any other plant equipment you are required to operate.
