Job summary

Kemp Eko Talent Ltd is partnering with a leading manufacturing business to recruit a Recycling Plant Operator for their site in the United Kingdom. The role involves operating plant machinery, cranes, telehandlers, and supporting safe site operations, with a Monday to Friday day shift and a £39,000 salary plus benefits.

You will inspect equipment, assist junior staff, load/unload vehicles, and uphold PPE and health and safety procedures in a busy recycling facility.

Qualifications

• Experience operating plant machinery, telehandlers, cranes, heavy or agricultural machinery.
• Ability to operate various site equipment and perform basic inspections.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant machinery and crane systems on site.
• Load and unload vehicles and assist with site balers.

My client, a leading manufacturing company are looking for a Plant Operative to join the team.

Recycling Plant Operative / Operator - Responsibilities:

• Operate Plant machinery within a business manufacturing facility dealing with all recycling products on site
• Operate large crane systems across the site
• Operating various other plant machinery on site
• Assisting and developing junior members of staff
• Assist in loading and unloading vehicles and site balers
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Follow all health & safety procedures and wear required PPE.

Recycling Plant Operative / Operator - Skills and Attributes

• Experience Operating Plant, Telehandlers, Cranes, Agricultural or Heavy machinery.
• Experience operating plant machinery - telehandlers, forklifts, loading shovels etc .
• Ability to conduct machinery inspections and schedule maintenance
• Computer literate
