Randstad Business Support is recruiting for a Yard Operative at Holcim Tilbury Docks in Tilbury, RM18 7EH. The role pays £14.00 per hour with standard hours Monday to Friday 7am-6pm, plus unpaid lunch.

Contract length is 1-2 years with the potential to go permanent and start ASAP. Responsibilities include maintaining the asphalt plant, basic maintenance, working at height, site cleaning, driving a loading shovel (training provided), monitoring CCTV, using the plant control system, and ensuring

Qualificações

• Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Previous construction experience.
• CSCS Card or MP Connect would be desirable.
• Ability to work at height.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to conduct manual handling.
• Sound IT literacy skills.
• Some knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation.

Responsabilidades

• Maintaining the Asphalt plant including basic maintenance.
• Working at height (via ladder) as part of maintenance.
• Maintaining the site including cleaning duties.

We have a Yard Operative position available within Holcim Tilbury Docks.This role is ideal for someone who considers themself to be reliable, proactive and eager to learn.

Role: Yard Operative

Location: Holcim, Tilbury Docks RM18 7EH

Rate: £14.00 per hour

Hours: Standard hours are Monday - Friday 7am-6pm with a 30mins unpaid lunch and overtime available. However, It's an on demand job driven by customer needs, once on site a rotation will be put in place with the team, some days you may start earlier, some later. Flexibility is needed.
