Job summary

Holcim Tilbury Docks is seeking a Loading Shovel Operative to join the team in Tilbury. The role requires reliability, proactivity and a willingness to learn, with standard hours Monday to Friday and a rate of £14.00 per hour (negotiable).

You will operate loading shovel machinery, handle materials, perform checks, and uphold health and safety standards. A CSCS card or MP Connect is desirable, and there is potential for permanent placement after 1-2 years, with ASAP start.

Rate:

£14.00 per hour (negotiable)

Hours:

Standard hours are Monday - Friday

7am-6pm with a 30mins unpaid lunch and overtime available. However, It's an on demand job driven by customer needs, once on site a rotation will be put in place with the team, some days you may start earlier, some later. Flexibility is needed.

1-2 year contract with the potential to go permanent

Responsibilities:

Operating loading shovel machinery safely and efficiently

Practising the highest standards of Health and Safety at all times

Strong work ethic and desire to learn

CSCS Card or MP Connect desirable

Loading shovel licence or experience

Some knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation
