Job summary

MTrec Ltd Technical is seeking an experienced Yard Operative for a permanent day shift at a busy manufacturing site in the UK. The role requires a valid Counterbalance licence and proven MHE experience to unload and move equipment, check deliveries, and assist with general site maintenance.

You will work as part of a small team across multiple departments, maintaining safety and efficiency in yard operations. A competitive salary, pension, and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

Valid Counterbalance FLT licence held.
Experience operating MHE in yard or manufacturing settings.
Experience in yard operations or logistics environments.
Able to work across multiple departments as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with good observation skills.

Responsibilities

Unload deliveries of returnable equipment and store safely.
Check deliveries and ensure documentation and manifests match.
Move equipment to support factory operations as needed.
Clean and maintain external site areas (roads, car parks, yards, etc.).
Offload vehicles when required and assist with yard tasks.
Support other departments as needed to keep operations smooth.
