Job summary

MTrec Limited is seeking an experienced Yard Operative for a permanent day-shift role within a busy manufacturing environment. The role requires a valid Counterbalance FLT license and hands-on experience with MHE to unload and move returnable equipment efficiently, while keeping the site clean and compliant with safety guidelines.

You will work across multiple departments, supporting operations and maintenance tasks, with progression opportunities and a competitive basic salary.

Qualifications

• Experience in yard operations within a manufacturing setting.
• Essential that you hold a valid Counterbalance FLT license.
• Experience with MHE is required.
• You will be a team player and capable of working across multiple departments.
• Detail-oriented and meticulous.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries of returnable equipment safely and store promptly.
• Check deliveries to ensure proper documentation and matching manifests.
• Move equipment and support factory operations as needed.
• Clean and maintain external areas (roads, car parks, yards, doors/docks).
• Offload vehicles as required and assist in operations.
• Move equipment and support operations as necessary.

MTrec Technical are representing our well-established and forward-thinking manufacturing client in their search for an experienced Yard Operative.

This role is a permanent day shift, and applicants MUST hold a valid Counterbalance licence and be experienced with MHE.

The Job you will do:

• Unloading deliveries of returnable equipment (including but not limited to pallets, trays and UDPs), whilst ensuring that equipment is unloaded and stored in a safe and timely manner.
• Checking deliveries of returnable equipment to ensure that documentation is present and correct, and manifests match physical deliveries.
• Move equipment/support factory operations as necessary.
• Cleaning and basic maintenance tasks for all external areas sitewide, including but not limited to roadways, car parks, pedestrian paths, yards, waste areas, doors/docks, etc.
• Offload vehicles as required
• Move equipment/support operations as necessary.

About you:
