Job summary

Pertemps is seeking an experienced Yard Operative in Paddock Wood to join the team for a temp ongoing assignment. You will operate a Counterbalance Forklift, load/unload vehicles, and move stock around the yard.

The role requires a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. You will support warehouse and production teams and maintain high safety standards in a busy industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is required.
• Experience as Yard Operative, Forklift Driver or FLT Driver is preferred.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and in a busy industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT).
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Move stock and materials around the yard.
• Assist with goods in and goods out operations.
• Carry out general yard duties and housekeeping.
• Work both indoors and outdoors as required.
• Support warehouse and production teams when needed.
