Overview

Thrive are currently working with one of our favourite clients to assist in building their team at their Leeds Depot. We are now looking for an experienced Yard Person / Yard Operative to work in a busy depot in Leeds. Immediate interviews are available for the right person. Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift and be involved in all areas of yard work.
• Load/unload plant and prepare, maintain and clean equipment, using a pressure washer where required.
• Check that orders are correct before dispatch to a customer and ensure stock is stored and stacked correctly and safely.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a yard or warehouse environment.
• Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Physically able to lift and manoeuvre heavy objects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
