Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting for a Yard Operative / Industrial Cleaner to join a busy recycling plant in Blackburn. This is a hands-on role outdoors, so you must be comfortable working in all weather conditions and around machinery.

You will carry out general yard duties and industrial cleaning, assist with moisture testing and data recording, and support the wider team with various tasks around the site. Full training provided where required.

Job description

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative / Industrial Cleaner to work at a busy recycling plant in Blackburn.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07:00-16:00 | Friday, 07:00-15:00

This is a hands‑on role working predominantly outdoors, so you will need to be comfortable working in all weather conditions and in a busy industrial environment.

The successful candidate will carry out general yard duties and industrial cleaning, while also assisting with a variety of other tasks around the site. You will be working around machinery and moving equipment, so good awareness of your surroundings and a strong commitment to health and safety are essential.

The Role

• Previous experience is not essential, as training can be provided
