Manpower UK Limited is seeking Temporary Yard Labourers for a busy recycling facility in Stourbridge. The role involves physically demanding, hands-on work Monday to Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork. Immediate starts available with training provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling duties.
• Comfortable working in a waste and recycling environment, including exposure to strong odours.
• Reliable, hardworking and health and safety conscious.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a labouring, yard operative or recycling role advantageous.
• Telehandler experience would be beneficial, training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and processing food waste deliveries.
• Completing goods-in checks and signing off deliveries.
• Cleaning vehicle tyres and heavy plant machinery before they leave site.
• General labouring duties across the yard and site.
• Litter picking and maintaining site cleanliness.
• Cleaning spillages and ensuring a safe working environment.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm

Contract: Temporary

Temporary Yard Labourers on behalf of our client, a well-established company within the recycling and waste management industry based in Stourbridge, West Midlands.

This is a physically demanding role and would suit candidates who enjoy hands-on work in an industrial environment. You will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operation of a busy recycling facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving and processing food waste deliveries
• Completing goods-in checks and signing off deliveries
• Cleaning vehicle tyres and heavy plant machinery before they leave site
• General labouring duties across the yard and site
• Litter picking and maintaining site cleanliness
• Cleaning spillages and ensuring a safe working environment
• Supporting site operations as required

Candidate Requirements

• Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling duties throughout the day
• Comfortable working in a waste and recycling environment, including exposure to strong odours
• Reliable, hardworking, and health and safety conscious
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
