Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting for a Yard Operative / Industrial Cleaner to join a busy recycling plant in Blackburn. This is a hands-on role outdoors, so you must be comfortable working in all weather conditions and around machinery.

You will carry out general yard duties and industrial cleaning, assist with moisture testing and data recording, and support the wider team with various tasks around the site. Full training provided where required.

• Carrying out general yard duties and industrial cleaning
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe
• Working safely around machinery and site equipment
• Following all health and safety procedures and site rules
• Assisting with moisture testing and material sampling
• Recording and working with data where required
• Supporting the wider team with various tasks around the recycling plant
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Carrying out other duties as required
