Job summary

Adler and Allan is seeking a proactive Yard Operative for our Standlake site. This permanent, full-time role offers hands-on work, the chance to learn new skills and join a hardworking, supportive team.

You’ll work closely with the Yard Supervisor, Site Manager, Drivers and Operations teams to keep the site running safely and smoothly, performing duties such as waste handling, sorting, stock control and loading/unloading.

Qualifications

• Must be prepared to work outdoors year-round.
• Forklift licence desirable.
• Able to work in a team and flexible with shift work.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety processes.
• Reliable with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with acceptance, handling and disposal of waste streams.
• Labelling, sorting and storing waste materials.
• Cleaning barrels, containers and yard areas.
• Helping with stock control.

What You’ll Be Doing

No two days are the same!You’ll work closely with our Yard Supervisor, Site Manager, Drivers and Operations teams to keep the site running safely and smoothly. Your role will include:

• Assisting with the acceptance, handling and disposal of various waste streams
• Labelling, sorting and storing waste materials
• Cleaning barrels, containers and yard areas
• Helping with stock control
• Supporting the site team with loading/unloading tasks
