Job summary

Direct Personnel (Midlands) Limited is seeking a Yard & Warehouse Co-ordinator to oversee day-to-day yard operations in Coleshill, ensuring safe and efficient movement of vehicles, goods and materials. You will coordinate arrivals, departures, loading/unloading and work closely with Goods In/Out, warehouse and transport teams.

You will act as main point of contact for visiting drivers, manage yard space to minimise congestion, maintain accurate records and support 6S and safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Experience in yard/wac kind of coordination is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day yard activities to ensure safe, efficient movement of vehicles and materials.
• Coordinate vehicle arrivals, departures, deliveries and collections with Goods In/Out, warehouse and logistics teams.
• Act as the key point of contact for visiting drivers and transport providers.
• Coordinate loading/unloading priorities and use of yard space to minimise congestion and support efficient vehicle turnaround.
• Manage waste contractor coordination to ensure timely waste collections and correct segregation.
• Communicate changes to delivery and collection schedules and ensure documentation is accurate.
