First Military Recruitment is partnering with a reputable client to hire a Yard Labourer based in the Eastleigh area. This entry-level role offers depot-based duties with occasional travel to customer sites.

You will support the maintenance of the rental fleet and help keep the yard safe and organized. Key requirements include a full UK driving licence, Forklift Truck Licence, CSCS card, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Forklift Truck Licence required.
• CSCS Card held as standard.
• Experience in a workshop environment preferred.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Enthusiastic and flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with service, maintenance and upkeep of depot's rental fleet.
• Provide yard assistance including loading/offloading equipment.
• Operate a forklift within the yard with training.
• Record hours and fuel levels of generators returned by customers or company transport.
• Assist with servicing and repairs off-site when required.
• Drive company vehicles to collect/deliver parts and equipment after training.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and comply with H&S policies.
• Comply with ISO quality, environmental and health & safety standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement within the depot and rental team.

Salary: Up To £28,200 Per Annum

Overview

First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our reputable client who is seeking a Yard Labourer to join their team.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone in the early stages of their career.

The role is primarily depot based, although occasional travel to customer sites may be required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with the service, maintenance and general upkeep of the depot's rental fleet.
• Provide general assistance around the yard, including loading and offloading equipment.
• Operate a forklift within the yard following appropriate training.
• Record hours and fuel levels of generators returned by customers or company transport.
• Assist with servicing and repairs to company and customer equipment off site when required.
• Drive company vehicles to collect and deliver parts and essential equipment following appropriate training.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
