Job summary

Alten’s is seeking Yard Labourers to join their team. The role offers potential permanent employment for the right candidates. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm with overtime available.

Candidates should have prior yard experience, be physically fit, and able to work well in a team. Forklift experience is preferred but not essential. Responsibilities include keeping the yard clean and organised, assisting in the workshop, and following health and safety procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy yard environment.
• Forklift license (B1/B2/B3) is preferred but not essential.
• Assist with workshop duties and yard organisation.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

• Keep the yard clean, tidy and organised.
• Assist with general yard duties and manual handling.
• Work within the workshop when required.
• Be reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.

• Previous experience working in a busy yard environment
• Forklift experience – B1, B2 or B3 license ( Not Essential)
• Helping within the workshop
• Keeping the yard clean, tidy and organised
• Assisting with general yard duties and manual handling
• Following health & safety procedures at all times
• Good awareness of safe working practices around vehicles and machinery
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Flexible and willing to work overtime when required
