Job summary

Jewson, part of Stark UK, is seeking a customer-focused colleague to deliver outstanding service across yard, counter and shop floor. You will engage customers, understand their needs, and help drive sales while upholding safety and quality standards in a busy branch environment.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday 7:30–17:00 with every other Saturday 08:00–12:00. Training for forklift and safe operations is provided to support you in delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and assess their needs to provide quick, efficient service.
• Ask open questions to understand current and future requirements.
• Maintain high standards across yard, counter and shop floor.
• Operate machinery safely and perform offloading, picking, packing and loading.
• Support initiatives to increase sales, margin and service.
• Continue learning core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs.
• Load/unload vehicles, including forklift when trained.
