Job summary

Jewson, part of Stark UK, is seeking a Yard Sales Supervisor for the Ipswich site. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday 7:30–17:00, with every other Saturday 08:00–12:00. You will deliver outstanding customer service, manage yard standards, and assist with loading/unloading and stock control to support sales and service.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge every customer and ascertain needs with quick, efficient service.
• Ask open questions to understand current and future requirements.
• Maintain high standards across yard, counter and shop floor.
• Operate machinery safely and perform activities such as offloading, picking, packing, restocking and loading vehicles.
• Support initiatives to increase sales, margin and service as required.
• Develop knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs.
• Load and unload vehicles manually and with a forklift (training provided).
