Job summary

John Davidson Pipes, part of Tessenderlo Group, invites applications for a Yard/Branch Assistant at our Wednesbury branch. You will work as part of a small team, providing product and service information, processing orders, and supporting loading/unloading of vehicles with a forklift.

We are looking for a hardworking, flexible individual with good customer service skills, literacy and numeracy, and an understanding of health and safety.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and some customer service skills.
• Literacy & Numeracy.
• An understanding of Health & Safety in a work environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing customers with product and service information
• Pick customer orders accurately
• Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles using a forklift truck
• Process orders accurately, within a time dictated by the customer deadline
• Serve customers on the trade counter when required
