Job summary

White Recruitment is seeking a reliable Yard and Fleet Coordinator to join our Rochester, England team. You will own the daily operation of the yard, fleet and workshop, ensuring a safe, tidy and efficient environment and coordinating deliveries, stock levels and equipment use.

The role requires hands-on, well-organised individuals with practical mechanical aptitude, strong IT skills (Excel/Outlook) and a commitment to health and safety.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills and a practical, hands-on approach.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks independently.
• Good IT skills, including Excel and Outlook.
• Commitment to health, safety and high housekeeping standards.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the daily operation, security and housekeeping of the yard, warehouse and workshop, maintaining a safe, organised and efficient working environment.
• Receive, inspect, unload and accurately record deliveries, while managing stock levels of tools, materials and PPE.
• Prepare, issue and receive tools, equipment and materials to support upcoming projects and site operations.
• Clean, inspect, maintain and carry out minor repairs to company tools and equipment, coordinating the hire and servicing of specialist equipment where required.
• Load and unload company vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring equipment is transported securely.
• Coordinate the maintenance, servicing, MOTs and repairs of the company fleet, ensuring vehicles remain compliant, roadworthy and ready for operational use.

Salary: up to £32,000pa (DOE)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:00am-5:00pm

My client is seeking a reliable and hands‑on Yard and Fleet Coordinator to join their growing team in Rochester. Key Responsibilities:
