Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking an energetic Year 2 Teaching Assistant for a Cardiff primary school. You will support engaging lessons, help children build confidence, and work closely with a Year 2 teacher to provide 1:1 and small group support.

The role is suitable for someone who is proactive, caring, and passionate about helping children reach their full potential. A long‑term commitment is welcome, with opportunities for permanent placement.

Responsibilities

• Support fun and engaging lessons in a Year 2 setting
• Provide 1:1 and small group support where needed

The Details

• Location: CF10, Cardiff
• Start Date: September 2026
• Hours: Monday-Friday | 8:30am-3:30pm
• Role: Year 2 Teaching Assistant

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
