Job summary

21 Health and Social Care is recruiting a Wraparound Support Worker to work with children, young people and families in community settings across Scotland. The role focuses on early intervention, relationship-based practice and practical support to help families achieve stability and positive outcomes.

You will build trusting relationships, promote wellbeing and help families navigate challenges, with opportunities for flexible hours including evenings or weekends as required.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting children, young people, or families in a care, support, or community setting.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings or weekends if required.
  • A trauma-informed, child-centred approach.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and family-based support to children and young people.
  • Deliver practical, emotional, and behavioural support in home and community settings.
  • Work collaboratively with families to identify strengths and set achievable goals.
  • Support routines, boundaries, education engagement, and emotional regulation.
  • Liaise with professionals including social work, education, health, and third-sector services.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to care and support plans.
  • Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive outcomes at all times.
