Job summary

21 Health and Social Care in Scotland is recruiting a Wraparound Support Worker to work with children, young people and families in the community. You will provide tailored 1:1 and family-based support, helping to build resilience and navigate challenges with a person-centered approach.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting children, young people or families in care, support, or community settings.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Flexible availability including evenings and weekends if required.
  • Trauma-informed, child-centred approach.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and family-based support to children and young people
  • Deliver practical, emotional, and behavioural support in home and community settings
  • Work collaboratively with families to identify strengths and set achievable goals
  • Support routines, boundaries, education engagement, and emotional regulation
  • Liaise with professionals including social work, education, health, and third-sector services
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to care and support plans
  • Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive outcomes at all times
