A prominent educational institution is seeking a Wraparound Care Manager to lead a new childcare provision. The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 childcare qualification and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.
Wraparound Care Manager
Location: St Joseph’s Catholic Infant and Junior Schools, Birtley (x2 positions)
Grade: Grade E, SCP 8-11 (£25,992 - £27,269 per annum) pro rata
Hours: Post 1: 12.5 hrs per week (Junior School Mon-Friday, 3:30pm to 6:00pm Term Time Only), Fixed term until 31/03/2026, 38 weeks per annum.
Post 2: 13.75 hrs per week (Infant School Monday-Friday, 3:15pm to 6:00pm Term Time Only), Fixed term until 31/03/2026, 38 weeks per annum.

The Federation of St. Joseph’s Infant and Junior schools requires two committed, conscientious and exceptional individuals to establish our newly commissioned wrap-around care provision. Bishop Wilkinson is the largest catholic education trust in the North East of England, which will have a total of 48 schools. This is an exciting time to join our supportive, and growing team. The federated schools have been selected to be part of the DfE 2022 School Rebuild Programme. Consequently, we hope to have a new school site within the next three years, which seeks to bring together the two school communities, to form one family.
The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, enabling them to communicate effectively with children, SLT, parents and the wider community. They must be committed to leading and managing the club, planning, being responsible for welfare and safeguarding procedures. They will be responsible for the club and all the children when all teaching staff have left the building.
