Job summary

St Peter's Catholic Primary School, Leamington Spa, part of St Raphael the Archangel CMAT, is seeking a Wraparound Care Assistant on a fixed-term basis until 31 August 2027. The role is part-time, 6 hours per week, term-time only (38 weeks per year).

The successful candidate will support a safe, caring environment before and after school, work in a team, and demonstrate commitment to the school’s Catholic ethos and high behaviour expectations.

Qualifications

• Supports the Catholic ethos of the school.
• Experience of working with primary‑aged children in school/childcare/play setting.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
• High expectations of behaviour and care for all children.
• Energetic and enthusiastic with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, caring and engaging environment before and/or after the school day.
• Work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with children, parents and staff.
• Create a flexible approach to play activities and supervision.
