Job summary

St Francis Catholic Primary School in Nailsea is seeking a reliable, caring and enthusiastic Wraparound Care Supervisory Assistant to join our team. This is an important role in helping us provide a safe, welcoming and positive start to the school day for our children.

The successful candidate will supervise wraparound care, ensure safety and wellbeing, support day-to-day running, and work closely with staff and parents to create a calm and organised start to the school day.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children would be advantageous.
• Dependable and organised with good reliability.
• Willingness to support Catholic ethos of the school.

Responsibilities

• opening and preparing the wraparound care provision each morning
• supervising children attending wraparound care, ensuring their safety, welfare and wellbeing
• providing practical support with the effective day-to-day running of the provision
• helping to create a welcoming, positive and well-organised environment for children at the beginning of the school day
• working collaboratively with senior leaders, teachers, other wraparound care staff, kitchen staff and parents

Actual Annual Salary - £3,700

• opening and preparing the wraparound care provision each morning;
• supervising children attending wraparound care, ensuring their safety, welfare and wellbeing;
• providing practical support with the effective day-to-day running of the provision;
• helping to create a welcoming, positive and well-organised environment for children at the beginning of the school day; and
• working collaboratively with senior leaders, teachers, other wraparound care staff, kitchen staff and parents.
