Job summary

Lakeside Primary School in Cheltenham is seeking a warm Wrap-Around Assistant to support the Extend by Lakeside after-school provision, helping to create a safe, enjoyable environment for children after the school day.

You will supervise children from EYFS to Year 6, assist with a range of play-based activities, support light homework or reading, manage registrations and transitions, and help with snacks and tidy activity spaces.

• Supervising children from EYFS to Year 6 in a safe and inclusive environment

• Encouraging teamwork, confidence and positive behaviour through structured and free play
• Supporting children with light-touch homework or reading where appropriate

About the Role

As a Wraparound Assistant, you will support the day-to-day running of our after-school provision, helping to create a positive and engaging experience for children.

Your responsibilities will include:
