Job summary

Burnley College are recruiting a Workshop Trainer – Electrical Installation to recruit, train, assess and review learners, supporting them through their qualifications in an on-site workshop in Burnley. You will have a Level 3 or 4 qualification in a relevant vocational area and be willing to work towards an Assessor qualification.

Knowledge of Electrical Installation qualifications is essential. The closing date is 12.00pm on Friday 11 September 2026.

Burnley College are recruiting a Workshop Trainer – Electrical Installation to recruit, train, assess and review learners, supporting them through their qualifications.

Your responsibilities will include preparing appropriate learning and assessment materials and undertake assessments in the workshop and to facilitate functional skills opportunities where required.

You will have an appropriate Level 3 or 4 qualification in relevant vocational area as well as possessing or be willing to work towards an appropriate Assessor qualification within a specified timescale.

Knowledge of Electrical Installation qualifications is essential.

The salary for this post is up to £30,340.
