Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Lecturer to deliver engaging teaching and practical training in the electrical installation sector at a Doncaster college. The role includes assessing apprentices, coaching learners, and supporting them toward NVQ and apprenticeship standards on a 6–12 month contract.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.
• Teaching qualification preferred but not essential.
• Experience delivering training or assessing apprentices is advantageous.
• Enhanced DBS check eligibility.

• Deliver engaging teaching and practical training in the Electrical Installation sector.

Lecturer - Electrical Installation 40 - 55 per hour

37 hours a week 6 - 12 months Location - Doncaster

Are you an experienced Electrical Installation Lecturer, Trainer or Assessor looking for your next looking for your next immediately available contract role? Do you have experience working within further education, apprenticeships, or technical training, or are you an experienced Electrical Installation professional ready to pass on your knowledge? You'll support apprentices and learners working towards their qualifications by delivering high-quality teaching, carrying out workplace assessments, providing coaching and mentoring, and helping learners achieve their full potential. This role would suit someone with previous Lecturing experience who is looking for a position within a well-established college

The Role:

• Deliver engaging teaching and practical training in the Electrical Installation sector
• Assess and support apprentices working towards NVQ and apprenticeship standards
• Coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to learners
• 40 - 50 -6 - 12 months

The Person:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
• Current or previous industry experience working in Electrical Installation or similar industries
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training) and/or TAQA, A1/D32/D33 preferred, although not essential
• Experience delivering training, lecturing, or assessing apprentices is advantageous
• Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check
