Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an Electronics and Electrical Training professional to join a leading Further Education college as an Electrical Installations Trainer. The role covers Aylesbury and High Wycombe campuses, delivering practical and classroom-based Electrical Installation training to apprentices, with assessments and workplace visits.

The ideal candidate will hold NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and a teaching or assessor qualification, plus strong industry experience

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or above) in Electrical Installation.
• Teaching or assessor qualification (AET, PTLLS, Cert Ed, PGCE or TAQA, A1, CAVA or equivalent)
• Strong commercial, domestic or maintenance electrical industry experience.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical and classroom-based Electrical Installation training to apprentices.
• Carry out learner assessments, progress reviews and workplace visits.
• Support apprentices throughout their apprenticeship programme.
• Work closely with employers to ensure successful learner outcomes.
• Promote additional training opportunities and maintain strong industry relationships.
• Based across the Aylesbury and High Wycombe campuses.
• Monday to Friday, 37-hour week.

The ideal candidate will have strong Electrical Installation experience, hold an NVQ Level 3 and possess either a recognised teaching qualification or assessor qualification.
