Job summary

Liebherr-Great Britain Ltd is seeking a Workshop Team Leader in its Earthmoving Workshop. You will lead engineers and apprentices, support planning, quotations, and documentation, and ensure safety and quality in a busy workshop environment.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with on-site contractors, and drive continuous improvement while upholding Liebherr standards across UK operations.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship in engineering with NVQ Level 3.
• Experience in workshop or heavy plant environments.
• Experience leading engineers, technicians or apprentices.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment.
• Excellent planning and prioritisation.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership to Workshop Engineers and Apprentices.
• Mentor apprentices and manage development tasks.
• Assist with job planning, scheduling, and resources.
• Prepare service quotations and workshop documents.
• Promote health and safety and maintain housekeeping.
• Foster a high-performing team and customer service.
• Coordinate with third-party contractors on-site.
• Ensure accurate documentation and reports.
