Job summary

Liebherr Group in Bathgate is seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer to maintain and repair earthmoving machinery at customer sites. This role requires a recognised apprenticeship and prior experience in a similar industry. Responsibilities include diagnosing machine faults, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of a recognised apprenticeship in a related industry to NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
• GCSE passes grades A-C in Mathematics and English.
• Able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role and/or industry.
• Flexible approach to work.
• Ability to use own initiative.
• Computer literate and able to demonstrate use of IT relevant to the role.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, inspection and repair of earthmoving machinery.
• Diagnosing specific fault issues and acting appropriately.
• Maintaining a healthy and safe working environment.
• Developing outstanding rapport and relationships with all customers.
