Job summary

Driver Hire Aberdeen is recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Workshop Mechanical Fitter in Aberdeen. In this role you’ll perform mechanical assembly, testing, refurbishment and maintenance of specialist equipment used in the oil & gas sector.

Immediate start with a temp-to-perm opportunity and a full-time schedule. You'll need around 5 years' mechanical assembly experience, strong hydraulics knowledge, FAT testing experience, and the ability to work independently or as part of a

WORKSHOP MECHANICAL FITTER

Aberdeen | £17.00-£20.00 per hour | Mon-Fri | 39 hours

Driver Hire Aberdeen is recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for an experienced Workshop Mechanical Fitter.

Immediate start | Temp-to-perm opportunity

The Role

Working in a busy Aberdeen workshop, you'll be involved in the mechanical assembly, testing, refurbishment and maintenance of specialist equipment used within the oil & gas industry.

You'll need:

• Strong mechanical fitting/assembly background
• Around 5 years' mechanical assembly experience
• Good knowledge of hydraulics
• Small-bore pipe fitting experience
• Experience carrying out FAT testing
• Strong practical problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible, reliable and positive approach

A broad, multi-skilled mechanical background would be highly beneficial.

Location: Kirkhill Place, Dyce, Aberdeen

Hours: Mon-Fri, 39 hrs per week

Pay: £17-£20 pr hr

Type: Immediate start, full-time, temp-to-perm

You must be able to reliably commute to the Aberdeen site.
