Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Workshop Fitter (Mechanical) in Inverness. The role involves fitting, repairing and rebuilding a range of equipment, including pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics, with welding and grinding tasks. 42 hours per week, 6:45am–6:45pm, on a 7-in-14 weekend cycle.

Salary around £45,000 plus overtime, life assurance and company benefits. The role offers long-term stability within a large, established company.

Qualifications

• Experience as a mechanical fitter.
• Ability to fit, repair and rebuild equipment.
• Willing to learn welding with training provided.
• Shift pattern requires weekend work on a 14-day cycle.

Are you a Fitter from a mechanical background, looking to join a nationally recognised company offering a long-term, permanent and stable role?

In this role you will be fitting, repairing and rebuilding a range of equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, pneumatics, and hydraulics, whilst also welding and grinding with training given if needed.
