EVMLtd in Southwater is seeking a Workshop Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of its workshop. You will be responsible for managing technician workloads, ensuring quality standards for vehicle repairs, and supporting a team within a growing specialist vehicle business.
The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in workshop management, a strong technical understanding, and exceptional leadership skills. This role also involves close collaboration with various departments to maintain efficient workflow and excellent customer service.

The Role
As Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day control, performance and quality output of the EVM UK workshop. This includes managing technician workload, vehicle preparation, PDI, warranty repairs, retail repairs, internal rework, quality control and workshop compliance.
This is a hands‑on operational management role requiring strong technical understanding, workshop discipline and the ability to keep vehicles moving through the business efficiently and to the correct standard.
The successful candidate will work closely with Aftersales, Parts, Warranty, Engineering and Senior Management to ensure workshop activity supports customer commitments, vehicle delivery targets and EVM’s wider quality standards.
As the Workshop Manager, your job role will include but not be limited to the following.
Performance will be measured against agreed KPIs including workshop productivity, job completion, PDI quality, repeat defects, rework levels, job card accuracy, warranty evidence quality, vehicle downtime and health and safety compliance.

The role may require occasional UK and international travel for training, supplier visits, customer support or operational requirement.
