Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Workshop Manager in Goole to lead a busy workshop, plan workloads, monitor quality and safety, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with the office on repairs and costs.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with a path to develop the workshop team within a well-established company supplying bespoke ventilation systems across the UK.

Do you have a background as a Workshop Manager or similar, looking to join a well-established company in a management role where you can take ownership of a busy workshop, lead a skilled team and play a key role in the continued success of the business?

On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established and growing company with a strong reputation for quality and customer service in a managerial role. The business specialises in the survey, design and manufacture of bespoke ventilation systems, supplying a wide range of commercial sectors across the UK.

This varied role involves managing workshop staff, planning workloads, monitoring productivity, maintaining health and safety standards, liaising with the office on job progress and costs, and ensuring all repairs and maintenance are completed to manufacturer and company standards. You'll also play an important role in supporting and developing the workshop team while helping to drive continuous improvement.

This role would suit someone with a background as a Workshop Manager or similar, looking to join a well-established company leading a skilled team and playing a role in the company's success.

The Role:

• Managing the day-to-day operations of the workshop
