Job summary

Group 1 Automotive UK is seeking a Workshop Manager for our aftersales department in Manchester to lead the day-to-day running of the workshop and drive service targets.

You will need excellent communication and organisational skills to deliver outstanding customer service and to support service managers in providing top-tier automotive care across brands.

Job description

Competitive salary of £37,500 - £42,500 basic salary, depending on experience, plus bonus with OTE of up to £50,000.

Working in our aftersales department as a Workshop Manager you will be a key part of the Retail Centre. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills to deal with customers face to face or over the phone, providing an outstanding customer service to all customers.

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Motor Industry experience in a similar role is essential
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work to timescales effectively
• Keen eye for detail, good communication and a passion for delivering great customer service
• Experience in a main dealer environment
• Strong industry knowledge
• Ability to work under pressure
