Job summary

Veolia Group in London area is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead a team of workshop technicians at our Morden site, driving safety culture and ensuring on-time delivery of services.

You will manage KPIs, supervise contractors, coordinate planning for maintenance and spare parts, and maintain compliance with LOLER and PUWER. Requires City & Guilds / HGV NVQ Level 3 and relevant licences.

Qualifications

• Essential qualifications include City & Guilds, or HGV NVQ Level 3 in vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Desirable: Level 3 Leadership & Management or equivalent work experience.
• Desirable: Irtec Technician Licence Holder, Forklift licence, HGV Licence, Welding/fabrication skills, Plant/RCV experience, Electrical knowledge.
• Good communication and IT skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety culture in the team and lead by example.
• Deliver KPIs including Risk and Assurance, Fleet Compliance, and Service Levels.
• Manage on-site contractors and issue permits per company procedures.
• Lead a team of workshop technicians and support staff; conduct performance evaluations.
• Address customer inquiries and ensure timely delivery of products and services.
• Monitor and improve reliability of equipment and processes; manage risks.
