Job summary

Brewers Decorator Centre is seeking a proactive Workshop Maintenance Operative to join our Premises team at Albany House, Eastbourne. You will manage shopfitting materials, maintain stores, and support loading, unloading, and distribution for our 280-branch network.

The role requires practical skills with power/hand tools, a driving licence, and the ability to work independently or in a team. A competitive salary plus pension and extensive staff benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with power and hand tools for shopfitting and storage shelving alterations.
• Experience working in a branch during trading hours.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to plan workload to deadlines.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock levels of shopfitting and merchandising materials.
• Keep storage areas clean, tidy and safe, and assist loading/unloading company vehicles.
• Carry out repairs, refurbishments, and shopfitting installations at branches and sites.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and available for branch openings and refurbishments.
