Kemp Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Workshop Forklift Engineer to service, maintain and repair a broad range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment. The role requires practical mechanical aptitude and a focus on safety and client satisfaction.

You'll perform LOLER inspections, diagnose electrical, hydraulic and diesel issues, and carry out safety checks, with a Monday to Friday 8am-4:40pm schedule. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with diesel engines.
• Experience with electrical systems, hydraulics and diagnostics preferred.
• Ability to work independently with a customer-focused attitude.

Job Title: Workshop Forklift Engineer

Basic Salary: £27,000 - £30,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-4:40pm (40 hours)

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing servicing, maintenance and repair work on a broad range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment
• Identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues
• Carrying out LOLER inspections to ensure all equipment remains fully compliant
• Completing safety checks and pre-delivery inspections

What you'll need:

• Proven experience of diesel engines required
• Experience with electrics, hydraulics and diagnostic skills preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage workload
• A professional, reliable and customer-focused attitude
• Full UK driving licence

Your Package:
