Travail Employment Group is seeking a Workshop Engineer in Burton Latimer to maintain, repair and service forklift trucks, MHE and plant equipment. You will work with the workshop team to keep the fleet in top condition and support PDIs and parts requests.

You'll support the Workshop Manager in delivering high‑quality maintenance, inspections and repairs across a varied fleet, ensuring all workshop and on‑site activities are carried out safely and professionally.
As a Workshop Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing and servicing forklift trucks, MHE and plant equipment, ensuring assets are kept in top condition. Working closely with Field Service Engineers and the wider service team, you'll help keep the fleet running smoothly, support PDIs, request parts, and follow established service procedures. This role suits someone with strong mechanical skills, great attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety and compliance.
