Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is hiring a Workshop Forklift Engineer in Walsall. The role focuses on servicing and repairing diesel, gas, and electric forklifts in a workshop setting, with strong earning potential and overtime.

Competenze

• Experience as Forklift Engineer or similar engineering role.
• NVQ/City & Guilds in engineering preferred but not essential.
• Valid UK driving licence required.
• Good mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.

Are you an experienced engineer looking for a workshop-based role with excellent earning potential? We're looking for a skilled Workshop Forklift Engineer to join an expanding team in Walsall, working on a range of diesel, gas and electric forklifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Servicing, repairing and maintaining diesel, gas and electric forklifts
• Carrying out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
• Ensuring equipment is safe and compliant with industry standards

What we're looking for

• Experience working as a Forklift Engineer, Plant Engineer or in a similar engineering role
• An NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in an engineering discipline (preferred but not essential)
• A valid UK driving licence
• Good mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
