Job summary

KAUTEC RECRUITMENT Ltd in Thurrock is seeking a qualified Workshop Fleet Technician to inspect and service a diverse fleet of commercial vehicles, Monday to Friday (days).

You will perform routine maintenance, MOT preparation, DVSA servicing, and 6–8 weekly inspections, with opportunities to upskill on new products.

Ideally you hold City & Guilds or NVQ, IRTEC is desirable, and a HGV Class 1 licence would be a plus; join a positive team and develop your career.

Qualifications

• Ideally you will be fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ or equivalent.
• IRTEC accreditation would be desirable, as would a HGV Class 1 licence.

Workshop Fleet Technician

Vehicle Management Unit - Monday to Friday (days)

We are looking for a qualified and time served HGV Technicianwho can demonstrate a thorough understanding of commercial vehicle mechanical dynamics.

You can expect to be situated in a positive and vibrant working environment where your efforts will be rewarded. A skills shortage can be trained by way of upskilling. What cannot be trained however is the right attitude and the desire to give your clients a first class service.

You will be carrying out inspections to a varied and diverse fleet.

You could be working on main dealer heavy goods vehicles (HGV#s) refuse collection vehicles, road sweepers, hook loaders, light commercials (vans), trailers and tippers-
