Job summary

Executive Network Group is seeking a Workshop & Fleet Supervisor in North Yorkshire to lead the workshop and fleet team. You will coordinate maintenance, inspections and repairs, ensuring work meets safety, manufacturer and SHEQ standards.

The role focuses on workload planning, scheduling, and developing the team to deliver efficient operations while maintaining equipment readiness and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Good technical understanding and ability to support Technicians.
  • Experience in workshop, fleet, plant, crane, lifting or heavy equipment environment.
  • Previous supervisory experience would be advantageous or experience aiming to move into office-based role.

Responsibilities

  • Managing, coaching and supporting a team of Technicians.
  • Planning and prioritising technician workloads and maintenance activities.
  • Preparing maintenance schedules to ensure effective deployment of equipment and personnel.
  • Coordinating maintenance, inspections and repair activities across the fleet.
  • Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with SHEQ standards, procedures, legislation and manufacturer instructions.
  • Ensuring spare parts are purchased and available when needed.
  • Driving continuous improvement across workshop operations and team performance.

Job Title: Workshop & Fleet Supervisor

Location: North Yorkshire

Salary: £60,000 + Company Benefits Package

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Workshop Supervisor / Fleet Supervisor to join a leading business within the lifting and heavy equipment industry.

This is a key position within the workshop and fleet function, responsible for the day-to-day management of the workshop, alongside overseeing a team of technicians. You will be responsible for coordinating maintenance, inspections and repairs, whilst ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with manufacturer requirements.

Role Responsibilities:

Role Requirements:
  • Good technical understanding, with the confidence to support Technicians when required.
  • A strong understanding of equipment maintenance, inspections and repairs.
  • Experience working within a workshop, fleet, plant, crane, lifting or heavy equipment environment.
  • Previous supervisory experience would be advantageous, however this role would also suit an experienced heavy plant, or crane technician looking to step into an office based role.
