Found Consultancy is seeking a Workshop & Fleet Controller in Warrington to coordinate workshop maintenance and fleet compliance in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with operations and support special projects, ensuring smooth day-to-day logistics and technical accuracy.

The role requires self-motivation, clear communication, and meticulous record-keeping, with responsibility for uptime, reporting, and improving workshop performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in UK fleet workshop and fast-paced operations.
• Knowledge of HGV fleet maintenance and MOTs.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage workshop records and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and ensure service and repairs are carried out effectively and accurately.
• Maintain maximum productivity and workflow in the workshop.
• Keep UK fleet records, ensure tax & MOTs are up to date.
• Manage maintenance programmes in line with manufacturers’ recommendations.
• Assist with workshop efficiency, productivity and turnaround times.
• Respond to customer queries and resolve issues professionally.
• Produce reports and provide management with workshop performance updates.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a large organisation in a Fleet & Workshop Controller position. You will be coordinating workshop maintenance, compliance of the fleet - day-to-day + working closely with operations + special projects and specific technical logistics specifications. This is a new additional role to the logistics team and you will be able to add real value to the organisation.

Key Areas:

• UK Fleet workshop experience - fast-paced operation
• HGV Truck & Trailer maintenance schedules
• Being self-motivated, solutions focused and a credible, first-class communicator

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring service and repairs are carried out effectively and accurately
• Ensure maximum productivity - workflow
• Maintaining the UK fleet of commercial vehicles and ensure tax & MOTs are up to date at all times.
• Coordinate and manage all plant and UK Fleet maintenance programmes in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations & warranties
• Assist with managing workshop efficiency, productivity and turnaround times
• Deal with customer queries and resolve issues professionally
• Maintain accurate workshop and customer records
• Produce reports and provide management with updates on workshop performance
• Support the Workshop Manager and wider management team with the day-to-day running of the workshop
• Investigate any accident damage and review the root causes + complete reports & follow up actions
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of IT e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
