Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment requires a Workshop Powered Access Engineer in Bedford. The ideal candidate has a strong electrical engineering background and experience with powered access equipment. The role involves servicing, repairs, LO­LER inspections, and maintaining records in a newly built indoor workshop.

Salary ranges from £35,000 to £40,000, with a 40-hour week and flexible hours. Benefits include 25 days holiday, pension, free lunches, a company bonus scheme and incentives.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is desirable.
• CAP qualification desirable but not essential.
• Strong electrical background in powered access or plant industry.
• Commutable distance of Bedford.
• Good administrative and organisational skills.
• Work well as a team and alone.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, repairing and maintaining manual and electrically powered access equipment including Eco`s, Peco`s and scissor lifts.
• LOLER inspections on powered access equipment and other plant.
• Keeping service records up to date.
• Adhering to workshop health & safety rules and regulations.
• The fleet of powered access equipment is all electric.
• The role requires you to do 40 hours a week but there is flexibility on the hours you do.
• Free lunches are provided so it is a good working environment.
