Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking a Workshop Powered Access Engineer for a Bedford-based workshop. The role covers servicing and maintaining manual and electric powered access gear, performing LOLER inspections, and keeping comprehensive records in a central indoor workshop.

The ideal candidate will have an electrical background in powered access or plant, be able to work in a team or alone, and maintain high safety and administrative standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is desirable.
• CAP qualification desirable but not essential.
• Strong electrical background in powered access or plant industry.
• Work well as a team and alone.
• Good administrative and organisational skills.
• Commutable distance of Bedford.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, repairing and maintaining manual and electrically powered access equipment including Eco`s, Peco`s and scissor lifts.
• LOLER inspections on powered access equipment and other plant.
• Keeping service records up to date.
• Adhering to workshop health & safety rules and regulations.
• The fleet of powered access equipment is all electric.
