Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer in Stafford. The role blends field duties with workshop work on pumps, water systems, dies el engines, and generators.

You will travel across the UK for installations, commissioning and repairs, carrying out fault-finding, preventative maintenance and training where needed. The position offers a salary of £40,000–£45,000 with overtime, a profit share bonus scheme, a company van and tools, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous field/service/maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills required.
• Experience with diesel engines and generators.
• Water pumps and pipework experience is a plus.
• Electrical fault-finding experience needed.
• Knowledge of 12V/24V DC and/or 415V 3-phase electrics.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain and repair customer equipment.
• Work 40% in the field and 60% in the workshop.
• Attend customer sites across the UK for installation, commissioning and repairs.
• Carry out fault-finding and preventative maintenance.
• Complete workshop builds and equipment preparation.
• Provide customer training and support as required.
• Complete service reports and documentation.
• Follow RAMS and health & safety requirements.
• Participate in 24/7 call-outs.
