A Workshop Engineer role with Travail Employment Group in Burton Latimer (UK) is seeking a technician to maintain, repair and service forklift trucks, MHE and related plant equipment. You will work closely with Field Service Engineers and the service team to keep the fleet in top condition, following safety procedures.

The ideal candidate has NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, strong mechanical skills, good numeracy and communication, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Formación

• Strong mechanical maintenance skills with experience in forklifts or MHE.
• NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required or advantageous.
• Good numeracy, problem-solving ability and attention to safety procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Repair, maintain and service forklift trucks, MHE and plant equipment.
• Diagnose faults and replace/repair defective parts.
• Request parts through the parts department as needed.
• Support fleet upkeep, including PDIs and routine servicing.
• Follow service procedures and site Health & Safety requirements.
• Collaborate with the Service Team and Field Engineers.
• Contribute to ongoing personal development and training.
• Maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
