Job summary

Linde Material Handling is hiring a Workshop Engineer for our Wellingborough depot. You will diagnose, repair and maintain a range of material handling equipment, from pallet trucks to IC trucks and automated systems. Training will be provided; a UK driving licence and IT literacy are essential.

We expect experience in mechanical or electrical engineering and hydraulics. The role requires both independent work and teamwork, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience as technician or fitter in plant equipment, powered access equipment, or similar roles.
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) preferred but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence and IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, fault-find and rectify faults on Linde forklifts.
• Undertake preventative maintenance and servicing tasks.
• Maintain accurate service records and participate in on-going training.
